Naya M.
Finally found a dentist that I love & my kids are comfortable with. I recommend them to everyone I know!
Jillianne O.
Got braces for a 2nd time as an adult. I am blown away with how comfortable the staff always made me feel being an adult with braces. Half the staff had them as well! Also, the staff always went well above and beyond with my kids. Most of the time I would have to bring my 4 yr old and 2 yr old while I was pregnant with my 3rd and they had no problem with them sitting on my lap and even brought fidget toys in for them or let them play with gloves. Whenever I didn’t bring the kids they would ask where they were and seemed bummed that they weren’t there. I still had braces when I had my 3rd baby and again, everyone was so wonderful when I came in with my whole clan. Thankyou for making braces as an adult a somewhat enjoyable experience!
Michelle S.
The staff is always so friendly. Explaining each step of my son’s treatment. We love Bridge City Braces!
Sarah M.
The team here is so supportive and the appointments are on time! Love coming here!

How do bridges affect orthodontic treatment?
Bridges can impact orthodontic treatment by affecting the movement of teeth and the overall alignment process. They may require special considerations or adjustments during treatment to ensure proper positioning and effectiveness of braces or other orthodontic appliances. Consulting with an orthodontic specialist is crucial for personalized guidance in managing orthodontic treatment with existing bridges.
What comes first, bridge or orthodontics?

Are bridges compatible with orthodontic braces?
Bridges are not compatible with orthodontic braces. Braces require direct contact with teeth, and bridges cover existing teeth. If a bridge is present, the orthodontic treatment plan may need to be adjusted to accommodate the bridge or consider alternative options.

Is orthodontic work possible with existing bridges?
Orthodontic work is possible with existing bridges, but it may require additional planning and coordination between the orthodontist and the dentist who placed the bridges. Special considerations will be needed to ensure the braces do not interfere with the bridges and to maintain the overall oral health and integrity of the existing dental work. It's essential to consult with both professionals to determine the best course of action.
Do braces interfere with future bridge work?
Braces can impact future bridge work by altering the alignment of teeth. It's crucial to consult with an orthodontist and dentist to plan treatment effectively. Retainers may be necessary post-braces to maintain alignment for future dental work.
Whats the ideal spacing for bridge and braces?
The ideal spacing for bridge and braces varies depending on individual needs and treatment goals. It's essential to consult with a professional to discuss specific spacing requirements for bridges and braces.

Yes, orthodontics can help realign teeth around a bridge by adjusting the positioning of surrounding teeth to create a more harmonious and balanced smile. Braces or clear aligners may be used to achieve the desired alignment and improve overall oral health.
Are temporary bridges an option before braces?
Temporary bridges can be an option before braces to replace missing teeth temporarily. They help maintain proper tooth alignment and prevent shifting. However, they are not a long-term solution and should be discussed with an orthodontist for the best treatment plan.
How do bridges impact braces adjustment periods?
Bridges can impact braces adjustment periods by potentially causing challenges in fitting and adjusting the braces. The presence of bridges may require additional care and adjustments during the orthodontic treatment process to ensure proper alignment and effectiveness of the braces. Patients with bridges may experience longer adjustment periods due to the unique considerations involved in accommodating the bridges alongside the braces.
Can orthodontic treatment include bridge modifications?
Orthodontic treatment typically focuses on correcting the alignment of teeth and jaws rather than bridge modifications. However, in some cases, orthodontic treatment may be combined with bridge adjustments to optimize overall oral health and aesthetics. It's essential to consult with an orthodontic specialist to determine the best course of action for individual needs.
What are post-brace considerations for bridge placement?
After completing orthodontic treatment with braces, post-brace considerations for bridge placement may include: 1. Consultation with a dentist or orthodontist to assess the need for a bridge. 2. Ensuring proper oral hygiene to maintain the health of surrounding teeth. 3. Discussing the type of bridge (traditional, cantilever, Maryland, etc.) that best suits your needs. 4. Regular dental check-ups to monitor the bridge's condition and overall oral health.
Is bridge replacement necessary after braces?
